MILLA NOVA
Milla Nova has been teaching Pilates for over 10 years. Certified in both Classical and West Coast Pilates, Ms. Nova combines traditional and alternative styles with her knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, post-traumatic rehabilitation, postural alignment of Alexander Technique, and breathing exercises of Tao and Qi Gong. Her new concept focuses on form and vector work as well as the Universal Geometry embedded in the human body structure. Milla has taken her new concept "on the road" invited to teach in England, Italy, Korea and her native Russia,. Her following is very dedicated, and her apprentices teach by her side as well as throughout the U.S., Asia and Europe.
MARK KOMLOS
Mark began studying movement in High school learning Modern dance at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, his home town. From there his love of dance grew and went on to receive a BA in Dance from Point Park University. He danced with several Dance companies and was a Scholarship student at the American Dance Festival. While dancing he wanted to learn more about the mechanics of movement and the muscular system. This led him to study Pilates and the Alexander technique. Mark received his Pilates Certification through Core Pilates NYC. He now studies biomechanics under the direction of Mila Nova master Pilates and Biomechanics teacher.
PAULA EDWARDS
Paula took her first yoga class 9 years ago at Yoga Hop and fell in love with the discipline. Six months later she was certified through Matthew Reyes and Yoga Alliance. Paula began to teach privately while still practicing with different teachers at different studios weekly.The following year, she went through Yoga Works teacher training and practiced primarily with Vinnie Marino and Bryan Kest. Although initially Paula fell in love with the cardio, the stretching , the balancing and the suppleness her practice provided, she now loves the state of mind that yoga creates and the awareness it cultivates. Paula is very grateful for her evolving practice.
KATHRYN NETTER
Kathryn began to practice yoga over 16 years ago. Her practice led her to discovering a deeper connection with herself and other people, allowed her to become more present, focused and accepting of who she is. Kathryn wanted to be able to share her experiences with others: that’s why she went through Yoga teacher training. Her yoga practice evolves on a daily basis. She continues to be inspired by teachers and students as well.
